small, specialized media and marketing consulting group founded
by Kevin O’Brien, a veteran broadcast consultant, marketer,
trainer, manager, seller and programmer.
In 2002 Kevin condensed 25 years of experience and introduced
PartnersProgram, dramatically increasing sales volume for media
clients, training and developing managers and sellers, and
turning new advertisers into successful marketers.
We have conducted sales and marketing development workshops,
consulting projects, and training programs for more than 8,000
businesses and media professionals in the United States and
abroad.
The Broadcast AdVentures client roster includes media
organizations including Comcast, Clear Channel, NextMedia,
GAPWEST, Viamedia, Northern Star Broadcasting and the Journal
Broadcast Group; and retail and service businesses including
John Elway Toyota and the Ontario Auto Center.
Kevin O’Brien…

…has worked to generate over $125 million in advertising
revenue, to the benefit of media groups and local businesses in
the United States and abroad. Kevin facilitates PartnersProgram
campaigns, and conducts focused sales and marketing training and
development programs for clients.
Kevin’s career has included successful posts in business
management and consulting, and in media as General Manager,
Director of Sales, General Sales Manager, Account Executive,
Program Director, Air Personality, and Sportscaster.
Kevin has earned a variety of awards and honors personally and
for clients for leadership, sales performance, and advertising
campaign creative work. He has been a featured speaker several
years at the Radio Advertising Bureau’s annual Sales,
Management, and Leadership Conference, has taught classes in
Advertising and
Marketing, as well as in Broadcast History and Programming at
Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and is a past winner of
the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters award as
Sportscaster of the Year for his state.
Kevin is a Cum Laude graduate of California State University,
Long Beach with a degree in Radio-TV and Film and an emphasis in
Business. He completed the National Association of
Broadcaster’s Executive Development program at Georgetown
University’s McDonough School of Business and the Media Buying
Academy’s certification program to better serve clients.
Tom Pierce…

…liked PartnersProgram so much, he joined the company! Tom was
a PartnersProgram client while serving as Director of Sales for
a group of radio stations in North Carolina. The program, and
the benefits and billing it creates, resonated with Tom’s belief
in effective and ethical selling so much that after leaving the
stations in 2007 he joined us! Tom now puts his experience from
“both sides of the desk” to work facilitating the increased
demand for PartnersProgram across the country. And there’s his
30 years of broadcast and management experience, too…
Tom began his career in broadcasting in Indianapolis after
graduating from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a degree
in Business. He started as a Sales Research Director before
rising to Promotion Assistant, Account Executive, Local Sales
Manager, National Sales Manager, General Sales Manager and
Director of Sales. Tom played a key role in RadiOhio’s start up
of the Ohio News Network and helped secure national radio
broadcast rights to several major Bowl games as well as the
broadcast distribution rights for the Cincinnati Reds and
Cincinnati Bengals.
Later, Tom led stations as Market Manager and, as founder and
president of Frontier Marketing & Management, was a station
owner.
Tom has consulted media groups and businesses for more than ten
years in the areas of broadcast sales and sales training,
revenue development programs, sports marketing, station
acquisition, station audits, and team building.
